Thought Process and Rationale

Thought Process and Rationale of Learning Outcomes and Test Items for First Grade Spelling

Spelling is a very significant aspect for first grade learners since it begins the learning process for beginning readers. As students begin to distinguish separate letter sounds for individual words, they begin to develop reading patterns easier. Students may not have had previous training to prepare them for combining letter sounds together in order to form complete words.
